Barbara is responsible for driving strategic initiatives across the entire organization. Using her 20 years’ experience in health care and in-depth knowledge of ConnectYourCare operations, Barbara focuses on quality, consistency, and delivering world class service.
Prior to her current role, Barbara has served as Senior Vice President of Member Experience and Senior Vice President of Client Services and was responsible for managing all client-related operations. In addition, she was responsible for the company’s compliance issues.
Barbara has worked on both broker and insurer sides of the industry for many years and continues to leverage her past experience in service to our clients.
Prior to joining ConnectYourCare, Barbara owned and managed Bay Benefits, LLC where she worked as a health care consultant and broker. Previously, she held management positions with the brokerage firms Willis and Hilb, Rogal and Hamilton, as well as Paul Revere and First Health insurance companies.
Barbara attended Nichols College and Framingham University in Massachusetts. She holds several industry certifications, including: Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Health Insurance Associate (HIA), and Maryland life and health insurance licenses.
She was Past President of the Towson Golf & Country Club.
