Barbara Cummons is uniquely qualified to oversee ConnectYourCare’s client operations and to enforce the company’s compliance issues. With over fifteen years of experience in healthcare, Barbara has worked on both the broker and insurer side of the industry. As Vice President of Client Services at ConnectYourCare, Barbara brings her past experience together to manage all client-related operations, which includes sales, claims handling and broker and client management.
Prior to joining ConnectYourCare, Barbara owned and managed Bay Benefits, LLC where she worked as a healthcare consultant and broker. Previously, she held management positions with the brokerage firm Willis and Hilb, Rogal and Hamilton, as well as Paul Revere and First Health insurance companies.
Barbara holds numerous industry designations including: Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Health Insurance Associate (HIA), and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI).
Barbara earned a Masters degree in Business Administration from Nichols College and a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics from Framingham State College.
